Installation of Sprocket
The sprocket must be installed on the shaft without any skew or swing. In the same transmission assembly, the finish faces of the two sprockets should be in the same plane. When the center distance of the sprocket is less than 0.5 m, the deviation should not exceed 1 mm. When the center distance of the sprocket is 0.5 m or more, the deviation should not exceed 2 mm. The phenomenon of friction sprocket tooth’s side is not allowed, and if the two-wheel knitting is too big, the chain is easily broken and the wear is accelerated. Care must be taken to check and adjust the offset when changing the sprocket.
Tightness of Lifting Chain
The tightness of the lifting chain should be suitable. If the chain is too tight, it can increase power consumption, and the bearing is prone to wear. If the chain is too loose, it is easy to jump and unchain. To maintain an appropriate tightness of the chain, lifting or pressing from the middle of the chain, the center distance of the two sprockets should be about 2% to 3%.
Replacing a Stretched Lifting Chain
If the new lifting chain is too long or stretched after use, it is difficult to adjust. The chain links could be taken out, but they should be taken out with caution. The links should go through the back of the chain, and the locking tabs should be inserted outside. The starting of the locking tabs should be in the opposite direction of rotation.
Replacement of Sprocket and Chain
After the sprocket wears seriously, the new sprocket and the new chain should be replaced simultaneously to ensure good meshing. It is not feasible to replace a new chain or a new sprocket alone. Failure to do so may result in poor engagement and accelerate the wear of the new sprocket. After the sprocket tooth surface wears to a certain extent, it should be turned over in time (refer to the sprocket used for the adjustable surface area) to extend the use of time.
Mixing Old and New Chains
The old lifting chain cannot be mixed with some new chains, or else it will easily cause an impact in the transmission and break the chain.
Lubrication of Motorcycle Chain
Lift the chain to remember to fill the lubricant with time. The Motorcycle chain’s lubricating oil must enter the mating clearance between the roller and the inner sleeve to improve working conditions and reduce wear.

Installation, Maintenance, and Repair
Installation of our motorcycle chains is straightforward and can be completed using basic hand tools. Maintenance of our chains is minimal and requires only periodic lubrication. If a chain requires repair, it should be replaced with a new chain.
